Marc is a former executive producer for Disney, China, and currently a writer, development executive, and international consultant at CCTV, China’s largest media company. Marc co-authored CCTV’s Perfect Dad, which was China’s number one animated film of summer 2021. He was on the Disney development team for Small & Mighty, a live action TV series set in Taiwan, broadcast on Disney Plus from June, 2022.

Marc has worked on hundreds of episodes of animated and live action TV series and films, writing original scripts; adapting imported shows; supervising writing teams; casting and directing voice actors; reviewing designs, storyboards, music and all aspects of production and development.

At Disney, Marc produced and wrote Stitch & Ai, which won the CCG award for best animation series of 2017. This series streamed on Disney Now in the US, and was broadcast in Russia, China, and across Southern Asia. He was also executive producer on Disney’s Stoney & Rocky series, which received the SMG award for best international cooperation in 2017.

Marc was story editor on CCTV’s Panda and Rooster, which was co-produced with the nation of Portugal, and he was screenwriter on the Toonmax series, Yugong Yishan, which was nominated for a Golden Rooster award for best animated series (equivalent of Emmy Award.) It was  broadcast on 35 channels for National Day, 2019, and was adapted for theatrical release across China in 2021.

  • IN JAPAN: Sony, Tezuka, Sunrise, Toei, Tokyo Pop, Studio Pierrot 
  • IN EUROPE: Moonscoop, Tomavision, BRB 

Marc’s other credits include Cowboy Bebop (the animation series and film), Astro Boy, Transformers, Naruto, Ghost in the Shell, FLCL, Stoney & Rocky, Power Rangers, Voltron, Battle Claw, Kioka, Yugioh, Rave Master, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, P. King Duckling, Denver the Last Dinosaur, Dive Olly Dive, Metropolis, Mix Master, and Steamboy. In 2021 he wrote lyrics for a series of educational children’s songs produced in Beijing for streaming media.

Marc’s works have won awards from the Tokyo Animation Fair in Japan; the Shanghai TV Festival and CCG forum in China; the Premios Midia Awards in South America; and the American Anime Awards, San Francisco Playwrights awards, and L.A. Dramalogue awards in the U.S.

In 2019 Marc was honored to be a guest speaker at the Conference On Asian Civilization hosted by President Xi Jinping. Marc also spoke at the Great Hall of the People for the Beijing Film Academy’s opening ceremony in 2019, and has been a guest speaker and workshop leader at professional events in the US and China including CICAF, Anime L.A., The Shanghai Film Academy, and a series of annual Disney-SART training events which he organized and hosted.

Marc is married with children. He lives alternately in Shanghai, Phnom Penh, and Los Angeles. He is an avid swimmer and is also involved in Theatre, Travel, and Education.
